About Dr. Darrell Steele
Dr. J. Darrell Steele is a native Texan. He attended The University of Texas at Arlington where he recieved his BS degree in Microbiology. He was accepted to Baylor College of Dentistry in 1987. He graduated in 1991 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Steele then was accepted to The University of Missouri at Kansas City Schools of Dentistry and Medicine and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training program at Truman Medical Center. He graduated with his M.D. and certificate to practice Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1996.
Dr. Steele and his young family moved back to the Dallas area in 1998. After practicing in Preston Center for two years, he and his wife, Dr. Linda A. Steele, opened their combined practice in Oral Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry in 2001 in Coppell, TX.
Dr. Steele's extensive education and background lead him to pursue other interests in medicine and particularly dentistry. He heads the Center for Oral and Facial Health where he and his staff treat conditions of the face, head, and neck. The treatments include esthetic skin care, snoring treatments, oral surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry.
Dr. Steele is a member of many local, state, and national organizations related to all areas of dentistry and medicine. He continues his education by attending meetings and lectures around the country. Dr Steele contributes to many local and national charities including the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, The Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children, and many others.
His practice style is one of relaxed comfort for his patients. His office has a soft soothing appeal and is not too upscale and at the same time is clean and comfortable.
